Cyberattacks and data security: 86% of French IT and security leaders are concerned about their inability to ensure the business continuity of their organizations
Rubrik announced the release of the second data security case study from its cybersecurity research unit, Rubrik Zero Labs. Data security is our top priority, but results vary
– 48% of French companies surveyed are currently using at least one Zero Trust initiative, compared to 56% globally.
– However, only 45% of IT and security leaders have developed or reviewed an incident response plan in 2022, and 55% have tested backup and recovery options.
Existing data backup solutions do not meet the needs
– 99% of organizations in France have backup and recovery technology in place, but 91% of them said they had significant problems with their solutions.
– 93% of French organizations confirm that during a cyberattack an attempt was made to access data backups, and 73% were at least partially successful in these attempts.
– 10% of French organizations recovered all their data using decryption tools after paying a ransom demand.
– 44% of IT and security leaders believe that the 2023 cybersecurity budget is not enough.
methodology
